Photographic Arts Centre

A cultural center, dedicated to photography, falls by the accident of the urban history of Cherbourg between the bottom of docks and huge warehouses, school of fine arts wedged on a rock emerging a radial road and a McDonald’s. In this landscape of asphalt and heterogeneous masses, the building stands out for its strange aluminum texture, but barely, as an unintended silver overlay in, signaling its uniqueness in respect of banality that hosts it.
